The Prayer Maker

A cynical swindler uses a girl who is said to have visions of the Virgin Mary and who many consider miraculous, for his financial gain. Together with the parents of the “Blessed One”, they will generate a business so large and lucrative that it will inevitably get out of hand. A story of intrigue and fanaticism, in a city where professed faith mixes well with corruption and fraud.
